Ondrej KostaandCursor dab098dada test(esp_netif): clear errno before L2TAP asserts 
select() does not set errno on timeout per POSIX; remove the incorrect
EAGAIN check after select timeout and clear errno before asserting it.

Euripedes Rocha FilhoandCursor 9e52922932 fix(esp_netif): harden NULL and OOM handling in netif APIs 
Use a temporary pointer for br_glue port-list realloc so a failure does
not clobber the existing array. Reject NULL mac in esp_netif_set_mac and
validate config->base in esp_netif_new_api before use.

esp_netif_set_hostname_api() dereferenced hostname via strlen() without
checking it for NULL first, causing a NULL pointer dereference.

Jonas Jonsson 0151c8db54 feat(ppp): Allow config PPP DNS servers for peer 
Make it possible to set the DNS servers to provide to the peer. This is
useful when acting as a PPP server.

If any DNS server is set, don't request a DNS server from the peer.

David Cermak 4e088964ef fix(esp_netif): Prevent null deref when checking netif type 
Most esp_netif public API check for invalid arguments, but when enabling
PPP the macros to check netif type could potentially dereference
esp_netif without any null-check.

Added a new Kconfig option ESP_NETIF_PROVIDE_CUSTOM_IMPLEMENTATION which
